About Baringa. Baringa was formally gazetted as a suburb in 2017 and covers about 4.1 km², roughly 7.2 km west of the Caloundra CBD in the Sunshine Coast local government area (postcode 4551). Frequently Asked Questions – Electrician Baringa

Do you install EV chargers in Baringa?

Yes. EV charger installation is one of our most requested jobs in Baringa. A single-phase 7kW charger starts from $990 fixed, and a three-phase 22kW charger is typically $1,500 to $2,200. Most Baringa homes are set up to make installation straightforward. See our EV charger installation page for details.

How much does ceiling fan installation cost in Baringa?

Fitting a fan to an existing point starts from $220, new wiring from $260, and a fan with a light is $260 to $400. Outdoor or alfresco fans are $300 to $500 depending on the setup.

Can you add extra power points to my Baringa home?

Yes. Extra power points and USB outlets are a common request as families settle into Baringa homes. Additional points and circuits are typically $200 to $500 depending on location and access.

Are you a licensed electrician?

Yes. Connex holds QLD Electrical Contractor Licence #92217 and carries $20M public liability. Every job is compliant and backed by our lifetime workmanship guarantee.

Do you offer emergency electrical in Baringa?

Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency electrical across Baringa and the wider Aura area. Call 0474 207 609 and we’ll let you know the soonest we can be there.

Do you also cover the rest of Aura?

Yes. We work across the whole Aura estate — Baringa, Nirimba, Banya and Bells Creek — plus Caloundra West.

Are Baringa homes new builds or established?

Both, but Baringa is the most established part of Aura — gazetted in 2017 and among the first areas completed. Many homes are now a few years old, which is why we see so many EV charger, extra-fan and smart-switching jobs here as owners add to homes past the builder handover stage.

Do you work on Baringa homes still under builder warranty?

Yes. Adding EV charging, fans or extra points as a licensed electrician does not affect your builder’s structural warranty — our work is separately certified and compliant. We are careful to keep new installations clean and tidy on near-new Baringa homes.

How quickly can you get to a job in Baringa?

We service Baringa and the wider Aura estate as a regular part of our Caloundra South work, and offer 24/7 emergency call-outs. Call 0474 207 609 and we’ll give you the soonest realistic time rather than an empty promise.
